The BRESSER SILK PLA filament has a silk shimmer for a glossy shine. It boasts great optics and excellent quality: for consistently high-quality print results, even the most minor of impurities is rectified during the manufacturing process. In addition, with its diameter tolerance of ± 0.2 mm, the filament is suitable for use in BRESSER 3D printers and other devices that support PLA material with a 1.75 mm diameter. This filament gives you the beneficial properties of PLA: it is biodegradable, odour-neutral and has a low melting point.
Our recommendations for optimising your printing:
- For the SILK PLA filament to work its best during 3D printing, the extruder processing temperature must be between 200 and 250 degrees Celsius. The printing speed should be between 60 and 90 mm/s. We also recommend heating the construction platform to between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius.
Please ensure that the printer’s fan is working correctly and that the appropriate cleaning filter is correctly inserted.
